Anthony Davis is back at Crypto.com Arena, but this time around he's a member
of
 the Dallas Mavericks.

Davis returned to Los Angeles on Tuesday for the first time since he was trade
d
to the Mavericks on Feb. 2, alongside Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pic,
 i
n exchange for Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris. Tuesday marks the
 f
irst matchup between the Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers since the trade
we
nt down earlier this month and the regular-season game is widely being hailed
as
 a revenge game for both Don i  and Davis.

Davis, however, will have to wait for his revenge.

The NBA champion and 10-time All-Star won't be available when the Mavericks ta
ke
 on his former team on Tuesday as he recovers from a left adductor strain suff
er
ed in his Mavericks debut on Feb. 8. Davis has been sidelined ever since, but
th
at didn't stop Davis from getting some shots up ahead on the familiar courts i
ns
ide of Crypto.com Arena, where Davis had called home for over five seasons.
