A Note from Susan Miller

dECEMBER 2019

Dear Reader,

I am bursting with excitement, for December will be one of the sweetest, most joyful months of 2019. I can’t wait for you to read all I have to say. It will be a month that has almost everything, including a solar eclipse (no worries, this eclipse will glow with benefits for every sign), a move of Jupiter, the good fortune planet, to a new sign, and a very rare, glorious aspect December 15.

I am excited to announce two new appearances, the first in New York City on Friday, December 6 and one, a month later, in Dallas-Ft. Worth, on January 4, 2020. I will appear in Los Angeles at the Conscious Life Expo in February and will post that information shortly.

Here is the information about my New York and Dallas appearances.

Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

This will be a glorious month for most Cancers, and your focus will be almost entirely on your romantic or business partner. If you are living together, in an established, exclusive relationship, including marriage, this month will speak directly to you. If you are single and not dating, you, too, will have opportunity.

Admittedly, this month will emphasize one-on-one committed relationships, but there is hope for single Cancers, too. The biggest events will take place in the second half of December, but let’s start at the top, and I will show you how nicely things will progress. Stay with me single Cancers, and I address you at the end of your report, above the Summary.

The start of the month will bring big news, on December 2, when Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, will move into your seventh house of marriage and commitment. Waiting to welcome Jupiter will be several heavenly bodies including Pluto and Saturn, two planets that had given you a hard time in your closest committed relationship, but now will be considerably softened by the presence of Jupiter.

Venus, the planet of happiness, will be in the same seventh house sector of your chart until December 19. That adds up to a lot of top-level planetary power acting on your relationship house, so there should be news emanating there. Jupiter will make you the sign most likely to marry in 2020 or to benefit from your present marriage partner in a dazzling way. Other Cancers will link up with a helpful business collaborator, like an agent, publicist, manager, business partner, writing partner, or another specialist who will work with you one-on-one.

The weekend of December 7-8 could be very romantic, for Venus and Neptune will combine to create an enchanting experience.

Your big moment of the month will be Christmas Day, late on December 25 in the US and South America, and on December 26 for the rest of the world. (Chanukah falls from December 22 until 30, and Kwanza begins close too, on December 26.) Eclipses bring changes, and yours will be in your relationship, in either romance or business. This eclipse is such a peach that you are likely to love the news that comes up.

The full moon will arrive on December 11 at 20-degrees Gemini. If you have a secret, or if someone has kept one from you, it would likely come out now. December is a month of surprises, so maybe the secret you hear will turn out to be a happy one that will thrill you, and let’s hope so! It could be good news—it is hard to tell.

I say something is likely to come out because Neptune will be in hard angle to the Sun and full moon. If you do discover that someone has held information from you, you may become upset. Once you discover the secret, the person who hid it may try to deny or obfuscate the truth, which would only work to compound the situation. Neptune in hard angle to a full moon seems to act like a lever that will push the information up and out to the surface. The person in question may be someone you collaborate with one-on-one at work, or it could be a committed, established partner in love. Still, at the same time, Uranus, the planet of surprise, will be friendly, so let’s expect only the best. You may like what you hear.

Keep your health robust at this December 11 full moon, as you could be working too hard and need rest. Slow down if you feel a cold may be coming on. At this time of the month, you will need more rest, so slow down so you will be full of vim and vigor for the holidays.

Now we get to the second half when things really start to pop.

Let’s first look at December 15, when Jupiter, now in your marriage and business partnership seventh house, will be contacted by Uranus. Uranus is the planet of surprise and is currently in your eleventh house of hopes and wishes. Friends will surround you and your partner at this time, so it seems very festive.

Things will happen fast in December, so it will be important to know your own mind. If you want to wed, then you may be thrilled when the question comes up. If you are not ready, you might feel carried away with the celebratory atmosphere of the season. You suddenly may be setting the date, even if you are wondering if you are ready. If you are, this month will be exciting. If you are not sure you want to take that step, then voice your hesitation openly. You might simply need more time.

It is possible that a business partner will surprise you with some exciting news. A potent aspect will connect financial Jupiter with surprise-a-minute Uranus, one that brings happiness, optimism, and joy. This is the only time in 2019 these two planets will be in sync, and they won’t contact each other again until 2024 (in conjunction) and in 2028 (in a heavenly trine, like this month). This aspect is as rare as diamonds. It falls on a Sunday, but you will feel its energy two days before and perhaps one day after, extending its energy from December 13-16.

All year we have had eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn, and some were tough on you, such as January 5, and I held my breath when I looked at December 25. This one will be a joyous solar new moon eclipse—it will have the power of three new moons rolled into one. New moons are always powerful, but this one is super-powerful. Remarkably, on this day, Jupiter will be at five degrees Capricorn, just one tiny degree away from the Sun and new moon solar eclipse at four degrees Capricorn.

If you are ready to wed, many Cancers will be surprised by a proposal before the year is out. Even more remarkably, Mars will remain in your truelove sector, the fifth house, and send beams to your marriage and commitment house. You may not know it yet, but it appears your partner is ready to marry you.

If you are already married, your partner will take the lead, and you will defer to your partner quite a bit this month. You seem to have come through hard times together, but now with the arrival of Jupiter, you are turning the corner. You seem to have brighter days ahead. Your partner will enter a phase where he or she will enjoy prosperity during 2020, and by being with your partner, you will, too.

There is one caveat I should mention. Sometimes when Jupiter is in the seventh house, your partner will siphon the good fortune and money from you. In my astrological textbooks from way back, I remember the warning, for under these aspects, your partner may do better than you, as your success might be consumed by your partner. If you are about to sign papers with a business partner, and you plan to share profits, keep this caveat in mind. Make sure your lawyer adds protection. Certainly, your partner will be contributing much in terms of advice, expertise, and so forth, and for that reason, you may not be thinking about or watching the financials—you need to do so, if only as a precaution.

I don’t want to leave the wrong impression, dear Cancer. You truly have a magical chart to wed. You have no less than six planets stacking up in your marriage (seventh) house, and that is more than half the number of heavenly bodies in our solar system. Alternatively, you can use these planets’ energies to further a business collaboration.

If your birthday falls within four days of June 24, or if you have Cancer rising or the natal moon in Cancer from zero to eight degrees, you will likely feel this eclipse in a noticeable way, and you will see changes in your relationship, possibly including a residential move.

This solar eclipse is opposite your Sun, so take care of the men in your life, including your father, brother, husband, or male boss. As said earlier, you will have a lot going on, so you will have to take good care of your health, too.

Although the eclipse of December 25 and Uranus’ contact of the Sun makes December 24 sparkle with unexpected good news, you have more in store. As this year edges to an end, it will set off beautiful fireworks.

The Luckiest Day of the Year will fall on December 27, a day when the Sun will align precisely with Jupiter, the good fortune planet. The Sun is the giver of life and strength and will take the goodness of Jupiter and multiply it many times over. These two benefic planets are meeting in your marriage and business partnership sector. This would be a glorious day to sign a deal or tender a letter of intent. It would be an ideal day to open a business. (The Sun, of course, is not a planet, but for simplicity, both the Sun and moon are referred to as planets.)

In the romantic sense, November 27 will be a beautiful day to become engaged, to promise to be exclusive to each other, to make a promise, or plan together.

If you are single and feeling left out this month, you will have enormous help from Mars. Mars, the sexy energy planet, is in Scorpio, lighting your house of new love, true love. Your best days to attend a party with the possibility of striking up a meeting with someone interesting will be the following:

Saturday, December 7, when Venus and Neptune will be in divine conversation. Friday, December 13, when Mars will contact Neptune, the planet of unconditional love, and the transiting moon will boost this day even further by gliding through Cancer.

Saturday and Sunday, December 14-15, when the rare Jupiter and Uranus aspect comes up and won’t again for years. It’s an aspect of hope and happiness, and it glitters. The transiting moon will be in Leo, so you will be in the mood for luxury and some pampering—choose a festive restaurant for a memorable dinner.

Thursday, December 19, will find Mars in your new love sector reaching out to Saturn, a sign that if you meet someone interesting, your budding relationship could easily stand the test of time.

Sunday, December 22, when Mars and Pluto will be in sync—a powerful, sexy combo of transformation.

Wednesday, December 25, is the day of the sweet-as-sugar eclipse. If you have an invitation to an open house, accept it! Mix and mingle—this day will bring surprises and good news and could open a new chapter in your life.

You have a busy December, dear Cancer, and no matter what you experience, this month is staunchly on your side, and events will work to your favor. This will be obvious now, or later. You have plenty of cosmic support, so venture forth with confidence.

If you are single, you must be happy as you will have your choice of when to step out!

SUMMARY

Things have changed dramatically regarding your relationship since the start of 2019. Back in January of this year, you were either worried about the health or welfare of your steady, established partner or were wondering if you should stay together because things were so rocky. If your close romantic partner was not the focus of your uncertainty, you might have been thinking about whether to stay with your business partner or collaborator, because leaving has become a consideration more than once.

In December, however, things have changed, and your partner in love or business will now become the source of some of your greatest happiness. Astrology does not indicate the name of the person in question, so there’s no way of knowing if you have since left one partner and now have a new one or if your ongoing relationship has improved substantially. No matter, for what is most important is that you are now in a better place, and it looks like indeed, you are happy.

A big weekend will be due for you December 14-15, when Uranus and Jupiter will be connected, working to create a thrilling experience for you. The supremely harmonious alignment of Jupiter and Uranus will be an exceedingly rare astrological event, not to repeat in these two signs for decades. Again, a partnership relationship will shine, and your partner is likely to bring lively and unexpected news.

You will have a gathering of powerful planets in your seventh house of marriage and partnerships of all kinds, including business ones, so clearly, your mind will be squarely on the idea of joining forces with a particular person. The planets in your marriage/partnership house include Pluto, Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter, and soon the Sun, which will join them on December 21. There is a strong indication that the work you are doing now is about to lead you up the ladder of success, to a position of greater power, influence, and responsibility. All you will need is an eclipse to unlock this planetary energy, and you have it, coming as a solar new moon eclipse in Capricorn at four degrees on December 25. The stage is set—all you need to do is appear.

Eclipses are major initiators of change, which you may have noticed with some of the eclipses in this family of signs that arrived earlier this year: January 5, July 2, July 16, and now December 25, in Capricorn or Cancer, two signs that share the same horoscope axis. That is, these are signs that stand opposite each other in the sky and on the horoscope wheel, and like a seesaw, they move together. What happens to one sign has an immediate effect on the other.

The earlier eclipses that came by this year were somewhat strenuous and required much adjustment, especially the one that arrived July 16, which some Cancers found quite difficult—even monstrous. The solar eclipse due this month, December 25, will be like milk and honey, and Uranus will be active on this eclipse, spilling surprises everywhere you look.

If you have no partner, Mars in Scorpio will be busy in your fifth house of new love, true love for the first time in two years. Mars will remain with you until January 3, ensuring that you will receive lots of invitations to step out. You will attract attention, so spend a little money on yourself to boost your confidence. You will be in demand in your company and your industry, so financially, you will be set. Be confident when you attend the holiday parties on your agenda. If you are single, here is your chance to find the one who can give you lasting love.

News about just how well you are doing will likely surface on a five-star day, December 15, when Uranus will contact good fortune planet Jupiter, spreading joy and optimism everywhere. Uranus, the planet of surprise, will send an out-of-the-blue beam to Jupiter, which happens to rule your workaday sector. Jupiter is known to bring big gifts, not little ones, so chances are good you will receive an exciting assignment and a decent fee for it, too.

Let’s backtrack to earlier in the month, now. The full moon in Gemini on December 11 will be a time of rest and rejuvenation. Holiday time is always hectic, but this full moon will give you a chance to pull back, catch your breath, and decide what you’d like to accomplish in the coming year, 2020. If anyone has hidden a secret from you, you will discover the truth. If you have a secret, be careful, for yours could also come out at the full moon December 11, plus or minus four days.

Near the end of 2019, you will have one more gift from a loving universe, the meeting of the Sun and Jupiter on December 27, forming the Luckiest Day of the Year, a divine day to promise your love forever ever in a romantic relationship or your support in a business alliance. We usually have one Luckiest Day of the Year annually, but next year the universe will not yield one, so enjoy this one!
