A Note from Susan Miller

dECEMBER 2019

Dear Reader,

I am bursting with excitement, for December will be one of the sweetest, most joyful months of 2019. I can’t wait for you to read all I have to say. It will be a month that has almost everything, including a solar eclipse (no worries, this eclipse will glow with benefits for every sign), a move of Jupiter, the good fortune planet, to a new sign, and a very rare, glorious aspect December 15.

I am excited to announce two new appearances, the first in New York City on Friday, December 6 and one, a month later, in Dallas-Ft. Worth, on January 4, 2020. I will appear in Los Angeles at the Conscious Life Expo in February and will post that information shortly.

Here is the information about my New York and Dallas appearances.

Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

You can look forward to quite an exciting holiday season, one of the best you’ve seen in many years. There are so many major planetary aspects this month, all of them brilliantly favorable to you as a Taurus, that December could be a month when at least one dream you’ve held on to for a long time comes true.

The month begins with the move of Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, into fellow earth sign Capricorn on December 2, 2019, to stay 12 months, until December 19, 2020.

You have not hosted Jupiter in the wildly compatible sign of Capricorn, your ninth house, in over a decade, so the experience will likely seem fresh and new. Beyond all the goodies Jupiter has planned to give you (and I will list them in a moment), you will also have Jupiter in perfect angle to your Sun, what in astrology is called a trine (meaning Jupiter will be 120 degrees away from your Sun)—the most heavenly aspect of harmony that you could ever imagine. This is something you’ve not experienced since August 2015 to September 2016. This time you have much more support from the planets than you did back then.

A trine from Jupiter brings good health, optimism, and the possibility of finding an important new love interest or the growing closeness and deepening of love for your present partner. Not only do you have Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, staunchly supporting your every move by bolstering your Sun in Taurus, but you also have powerhouse Pluto and stabilizing Saturn behind you. You also have your own ruler Venus, the planet of love and happiness, in Capricorn, sending you dazzling rays in perfect harmony. (Venus will remain in Capricorn until December 19.) This is extraordinary! It is like you managed to roll all the little planets over to a perfect corner of the sky. But wait, there is more!

On December 15 (plus or minus two days), Uranus and Jupiter will work together to send you a surprise, possibly in the form of an outstanding opportunity that will be tailor-made for you. Uranus is currently on a seven-year journey through Taurus, so this surprise will speak to something you dearly want to happen in your life, and it will come out of the blue. Jupiter, as said, is in your ninth house where all the biggest and most dazzling opportunities will emanate for you through 2020, but will be particularly strong in December and January. (Your ninth house covers long-distance travel, immigration matters, publishing, broadcasting, academia, and all legal matters.)

Your ninth house, Capricorn, is where the December 25 solar eclipse, along with Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn, and the Sun will gather. This area of the chart is meant to lift you out of day-to-day life and offer a 360-degree panoramic view and a range of possibilities you may have never considered. Reach for the golden apple on the tree branch, dear Taurus, for a loving universe has placed it there for you.

To top this off, the Sun will move through Capricorn from December 21 until January 20, and within that time, you have a darling new moon eclipse in Capricorn on December 25 (US) or December 26, depending on your time zone. To be clear, this is a solar eclipse, not a lunar eclipse (which is always a full moon). Solar eclipses open a new chapter, so one is happening right now for you!

At eclipse time, the two most exciting aspects will be Uranus in earth sign Taurus at four degrees, in ideal angle to the Sun and new moon solar eclipse at four degrees in Capricorn, and to Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, at two-degrees Capricorn. You will be uniquely poised to receive—and announce—a major, surprising decision. The other most important aspect on December 25 is Jupiter’s tight presence to the Sun and new moon, the reason this eclipse will be so joyous. It is as if you had done all the hard work the universe asked you to do on your life in previous months, and now this eclipse will bring reward in various areas of your life.

A solar eclipse opens a door to an entirely new path, so you are likely to see breathtaking, expansive, and exciting changes as a result of this eclipse. This will be doubly true if your birthday falls on or within four days of April 23, or you have a natal planet in Taurus or Scorpio within five degrees of four degrees. Sometimes an eclipse takes weeks or months to create its changes, but you can be sure, if your birthday falls within the dates I listed, you will find 2020 to be a landmark year.

If you are a Taurus reader who has a May birthday, you will have your chance—just wait as Jupiter and Uranus orbit into later degrees. In the meantime, if you have a planet in early degrees of Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn, that planet will be lit up and be very helpful to you in an exciting way.

The centerpiece of the month will be this solar eclipse of December 25 in your ninth house, and under this influence, most people journey to a foreign city that they have never visited but always hoped to see. That usually happens soon after the eclipse appears. By taking a journey to a foreign country, you will adopt an exciting new perspective. All new moons generally bring opportunities, but a solar eclipse is like a new moon on steroids—it has the strength of three new moons rolled into one. Things that happen at an eclipse tend to be laden with meaning, and at the same time, give you a preview of your future.

This is why I feel you may be jetting to foreign shores to ring in the New Year, possibly as a surprise gift from your romantic partner. If you have business travel on your calendar in late December, don’t be blue—you will enjoy yourself by combining business with pleasure. Rarely have I seen you so deliciously happy to be in new surroundings. For that reason, I would like to advise you to add a few days to the end of your business trip. If your company won’t cover the expense of staying two or three extra days, see if you can do so yourself. As I said, December and January will be no ordinary months for you!

After this year is over, you may say that you realize you used to view life from the margins in small proportions and applications. Now your eyes will be opened, and you see each project in their largest possible manifestation. You will realize life has so much more to offer than you thought possible. Your old life is rapidly receding into history and thank goodness for that—your new life will be so much more exciting.

Your ninth house is essentially an intellectual one, so your quest for higher education falls here, namely when you go to college or graduate school. If you need to take an exam or defend your thesis this month or in January, for example, you will likely ace it. If you hope to receive a grant, scholarship, or generous financial aid, put in your application in December. Something about the coming year in college or graduate school will be especially enlightening and have a strong bearing on your future course. Again, for you, this is no ordinary year.

Immigration, passport, visa, and green card matters come under this same ninth house because of its link to international travel and relationships.

This ninth house area of the chart is also about sharing your specialized knowledge with others, so the media relates to this house. With publishing and broadcasting projects glowing, if you have a book idea, you may have your green light to publish your book. Even more exciting, you may have finished writing and will see it come off the presses in December or January. With your aspects, critical reviews should be quite positive and enthusiastic. (The emphasis on your ninth house will continue into next month and be equally strong.)

If you dream of having your own television or radio show or marketing your own app, this is the month to get serious about your dream. If you are not the writer, editor, or producer of the assignment, you might be the subject of thrilling publicity—the kind that puts your name in lights in your industry.

Legal matters will favor you and, due to the eclipse December 25, appear to have long-term ramifications. If, for example, you are filing a trademark or patent, under these twinkling stars, the future bodes well for your venture. Or if you have a court case pending and it can be decided now or in January, you stand a fantastic chance of seeing it go your way. If the case is not ready to be heard until later in the year, it may be worth trying to settle in December or the first half of January.

Your ninth house, so brilliantly lit for you, is also the house of justice and intellectual debate, the reason legal matters fall in the ninth house. The natural ruler of this house is Jupiter, which is why it is also called the house of philosophical discussion and why it covers the dogma of religion. If you are a lawyer working on a big case, you will have the ability to make your opening and closing remarks memorable and moving—so much so that you could win the case for your client.

As you see, this month will give you a full array of stimulating matters that come under your ninth house, and one or two will apply to you. This will be quite an expansive time because during this year, you will gradually see your dreams, talents, and personal life in a new light. You may now want to draw up new goals—and paint them boldly on a much broader canvas.

Remarkably, directly after the eclipse of December 25, we have the Luckiest Day of the Year on December 27. (We will not have a Luckiest Day of the Year in 2020 but will shortly after the year closes, on January 28, 2021.) This will be the Luckiest Day of the Year because the Sun will take the goodness of Jupiter and multiply it many times over in dazzling fashion. Taurus, are you fainting with excitement yet? I am—for you!

The Sun is the natural ruler of your fourth house of home, so on Christmas, December 25, or in the days that follow until December 28, you may receive a generous cash gift from your parents that you can put toward a down payment on your first house or condo. Or you may hear from your bank about a mortgage that has been approved for you with attractive interest terms. This news would likely come in the last week of December or in early January. You may be closing on your house at that time, or if you already bought your house, you might be ready to renovate it and find out you are approved for a home improvement loan. In other words, there’s good news regarding your home.

Earlier, I had skipped over talking about the full moon, December 11, so let’s discuss that now. This full moon will light your financial second house of personal income, so it appears you may receive good news about money at that time—for example, if you asked for a raise, it might come through then. You will also likely polish off bills you owe, and you may also send deposits related to your commitments to various companies.

Neptune will be in hard angle to that full moon of December 11, so it would not be the right time to sign a contract, as it appears key clauses could be confusing, misleading, or missing. With Neptune acting up, it will be vital you check with your lawyer before signing so that she can protect you.

I would prefer you to sign papers on December 27 if you can wait that long, for it will be the Luckiest Day of the Year when Jupiter will be conjunct with the Sun. It does not get any better than that! I also like December 19 and 22 as runner-up dates.

All month, Mars, the action planet, will be in Scorpio, your seventh house of partnership, so you will be collaborating with your sweetheart or spouse. Or at work, you may be collaborating closely with someone important to you—your editor, producer, publisher, publicist, business partner, accountant, or lawyer, as some examples. This month, allow your partner or collaborator to make suggestions and consider his or her point of view. You will do best by being conciliatory rather than by taking over and assuming the lead. You will have your turn to have a greater say in the coming weeks, but not now. This is a temporary situation.

In the meantime, you will have three days this month when Mars in your marriage and partnership house will work beautifully with other planets.

December 13 will be your first date to note, when Mars and Neptune will be in sync, aiding a creative project by generating dynamic tension between you and your collaborator—the results could be fantastic. Both of you will be passionate and committed to a great outcome, and that’s why you will achieve your goals.

December 19 brings Mars and Saturn into collaboration, so actions will have the ability to bring long-range stability. If you sign papers on this day, you will have a venture that will stand the test of time.

December 22 could be quite special, too. Mars will work with Pluto, which, as said, is based in your magical ninth house (and will remain there until March 2023). All the topics covered by the ninth house discussed above—foreign travel and international relationships, publishing and broadcasting projects, academia, legal and immigration matters, and your pursuit for higher education—will shine on this day.

Of course, the king of all days will be December 27.

The great emphasis on marriage and partnership that Mars will bring in December suggests that a number of Taurus will become engaged or married this month. It’s an enchanting time to commit your heart forever, dear Taurus, either on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day. What a holiday this year’s stars present to you!

SUMMARY

Exciting news about foreign travel could have you more excited than you’ve been in years. A crown of twinkling stars will line up in Capricorn—a divinely harmonious earth sign that is beautifully oriented to your Taurus Sun—making any travel this month special and memorable. You may alternatively (or additionally) be excited about a publishing, broadcasting, or digital venture, or one involving academia. All kinds of good news and accolades are on the way to you in this extraordinary month.

Uranus in Taurus will also be sending good wishes to good-fortune Jupiter, an exceedingly rare event, and that will happen on December 15. News that comes up is likely to be completely unexpected and joyful. Uranus and Jupiter rarely communicate, and when they do, they don’t always send such supremely supportive, flawless vibrations. Watch for a breakthrough regarding foreign travel and international relationships, immigration matters, or those involving a passport, visa, or green card. Or you may instead experience luck involving a publishing or broadcasting project, a legal matter, or one involving your pursuit for an advanced university degree. Keep alert on or very near December 15.

This month holds a solar eclipse, which is a very powerful new moon, December 25 (or December 26, depending on your time zone) and lights up all the areas previously listed. That eclipse will open a new path in the last week of December that had been locked shut and impossible to enter previously—now, doors will fling open for you. You will feel the rush of events and excitement, and the matter you will be thinking about will extend like a beautiful, lyrical song throughout most of January. The entire New Year of 2020 will accent these topics too, but this month and January will be extraordinary.

This month will be truly special, because on December 27 the Luckiest Day of the Year will arrive, which is usually an annual event (although not due to happen in 2020 but rather January 2021 in a different sign and place in your chart) when the Sun will conjoin jovial, happiness planet Jupiter. If you plan to celebrate the holidays on foreign shores, you will weave a tender, luxurious experience. If you are signing a deal on this day or launching a product, your profits are likely to be substantial and may be more than you ever imagined.

Romantically, those who are attached will have an edge, for Mars is now in your marriage sector. Some Taurus will become engaged, and others will marry during this glorious month. If you are already married, find ways to celebrate your love. You can use these bright vibrations for crafting unusually successful business alliances, too.

Single and looking for love? Venus in Capricorn will bring out your charm, just in time for holiday parties, from December 1 until 19. The weekend of December 7-8 will be extra special, for Venus and Neptune will and extend an especially glamorous vibration.

Next month, once Venus enters Pisces, from January 13 to February 7, 2020, you will again be surrounded by Cupid’s little fleet of angels, and each one will sprinkle you with pixie dust. As you see, you have so much to look forward to as you end the year and welcome the New Year!
