WASHINGTON -- As he sat down at his locker to speak to the media, Jordan
Poole was making arrangements with a team staffer to keep the game ball.
Write on a piece of tape, not on the ball itself, to commemorate the
occasion, he said. Poole had just broken the Wizards' single-season franchise
record for threes made, and this one was going to a special place.
當普洱坐在休息室跟媒體訪問的時候，他正在跟球團人員處理安排手續，要保留比賽

Poole, 25, set a goal this season to capture the record, which stood at 223
threes, a mark left behind by the man he was traded for, Bradley Beal. Poole
was three away from breaking it when Monday night's game against the Heat
tipped off, and he got there less than nine minutes into the first quarter.


Poole curled off a screen by Alex Sarr to his right and sank a leaning jumper
from long range. It was part of a 35-point performance, albeit in a loss,
culminating with postgame locker room speeches by head coach Brian Keefe and
teammate Anthony Gill.

hard work went into it," Poole said.

That's what Poole is known for behind closed doors, for being one of the most
diligent workers on the team when it comes to getting up shots. He puts in
extra work before and after practices and shootarounds.
這是普洱最為人所知道的走後門戰術，他是隊上最努力練習的球員之一，當需要得分的
時候所使用的方式。他在賽前跟賽後都會練習跟練投。

That's partly why Wizards executives like the example he sets for younger
players.

second round pick, said. "As a teammate, you really respect that as the
leader, the leader of the team. You really respect that."
