short of anointing him the closer:
"It may turn out that Luke Weaver is closing a lot of games, but it may turn
out that Luke comes into a spot in the sixth inning and gets four or five

(2) @BryanHoch: Aaron Boone said Clay Holmes has been "snakebitten" by
mistakes, but the Yankees are counting on him to help this postseason: "The
reality is, he's still really good. His stuff is really good, and he's going
to get big outs for us."
(3) @BryanHoch: Clay Holmes' 13 blown saves tie Goose Gossage (1983) and Dave
Righetti (1987) for the most by a Yankee since saves became an official stat in
1969.
(4) @ktsharp: Aaron Judge and Juan Soto are the first set of teammates in MLB
history with 315+ total bases and 120+ walks in the same season.
