1. चाहे: even if; either...or; or...or; even though/though......yet/still
2. मानो: as if, as if, as though; supposing
3. शायाद: maybe
一、未完成式虛擬語氣
未完成式虛擬語氣傳達經常性的虛擬動作，如: 願望、渴望、猜測等。
1. Even if he works very hard, he doesn't have money.
→ चाहे वह कितनी मेहनत करता हो, उसके पास पैसे नहीं होते |
2. Maybe you don't know.
→ शायद आप जानते न हों |
二、完成式虛擬語氣
完成式虛擬語氣傳達過去可能發生的動作，因為是完成式，所以用及物動詞的句子，主詞要轉為施事格。
1. Maybe I didn't reply to her letter.
→ शायद मैंने उसकी चिठठी का जवाब न दिया हो |
2. He was as happy as if he had won the lottery.
→ वह इतना खुश था मानो उसने लाटरी जीती हो |
3. They might have gone to the movies.
→ वे शायद सिनेमा गए हों |
三、進行式虛擬語氣
進行式虛擬語氣表達某可能的動作正在進行著。
1. She's smiling like she's hiding something.
→ वह ऐसे हंस रही है मानो कुछ छिपा रही हो
2. I didn't hear the phone; I might have been sleeping then.
→ मैंने फ़ोन नहीं सुना, शायद मैं तब सो रहा हूँ |
