On board a passenger plane flying from the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh
to Samara, a Russian citizen committed suicide.

This is reported by RBC.

死者親屬稱該男子精神狀況不佳

一名男子在從沙姆沙伊赫起飛的航班上自殺。

在一架從埃及度假勝地沙姆沙伊赫飛往薩馬拉的客機上，一名俄羅斯公民自殺了。

Details of PE

The incident took place on November 22 during the flight S7 6619. After
takeoff, one of the passengers went to the toilet room, where he spent a lot
of time, which alerted the flight attendants.

事件發生在11月22日在S7 6619航班，起飛後，其中一名乘客去了廁所，在那裡待了很多
時間，這引起了空服人員的注意。

As stated in the S7 airline, the passenger was found unconscious “with signs
of suicide,” and the crew made a decision on an immediate emergency landing
at the nearest airport – in Cairo. Three doctors flew on the same flight,
including a resuscitator, who performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation before
the plane landed.

In agreement with the Russian Consulate in Egypt, the deceased passenger was
transported to Samara in the baggage and cargo compartment for transfer to
relatives.

What is known about the deceased?

According to Vechernyaya Moskva, 48-year-old Russian Alexander, a resident of
Samara, hanged himself. Several passengers on the flight, who turned out to
be doctors, helped free the body hanging in the noose, after which they
unsuccessfully tried to revive the suicide.

As it turned out, the Russian was alone on vacation in Sharm el-Sheikh and
wrote to his wife during his vacation that he loved her. The passengers of
the flight said that immediately after takeoff, the man behaved strangely –
he was excited, talked to himself and tried to calm himself down. Relatives
later reported that the man had mental health problems and likely committed
suicide during an exacerbation.

事實證明，俄羅斯人獨自在沙姆沙伊赫度假，假期期間寫信給妻子說他愛她。該航班的乘
客表示，起飛後不久，該男子行為異常—他很興奮，自言自語，試圖讓自己冷靜下來。
親屬後來報告說，該男子有心理健康問題，可能在病情惡化期間自殺。
